Grave Goods
This is work towards an installation in Somerset Art Week 2009 at Marston House, Marston Bigot, Frome, Somerset UK, which will refer to a deserted Medieval Village diagonally in front of the house, that was probably victim to the Plague. The sculpture draws on archaeological evidence, across the Northern Hemisphere, for goods accompanying ritual inhumation and is an attempt to come to terms in the present day with this kind of violent social dislocation.
